A great layout and challenging course. A little tired in places and the bunkers weren't up to the price tag. Staff were very amenable and the speed of play was good. Got on to book only the day before at a busy time of year.
The only way I could describe this place is tremendously disappointing. This golfing experience had me start in the pro shop which had much left to desire with little to no life showing at all, almost a ghost town. Secondly, I was greeted to a $100 fee which I was not too worried about untill I reached the greens. WOW were they disappointing, little to no love showed at all throughout the course with the bunkers being hard as rocks and the grass being up kept by what seems like an incoherent imbecile. I’m throughly disappointed as this is the worse course I have ever been too and the only time I have been forced to leave a bad review.
However, getting to the meat and potatoes I beg that the managment team at this deteriorating course can step up their game and save what is at its grass roots a very capable course which just lacks and love at all. $100 should not be acceptable at this venue.
I have seen some really negative reviews about this course. I've played twice in month. Tricky but a great course
$100+ depending on the tee time for possibly the most expensive goat track in the country. Overall the facilities are tired and unmaintained to a level you would expect for the cost. Bunkers, tee boxes, general buildings, driving range all need maintenance to bring this course back to its former glory.
What an absolute gem of a place. Attended here for my nieces sweet 16th. There was a variety of delicious finger foods and special shout out to event Co-ordinator Rebecca who made the night go on without an issue. Great photo opportunities as well.
If you're mentally deranged and essentially addicted to golf (like me), it's worth paying $100 to play here just because it's somewhere you can get on at short notice on the weekend. But it's in very poor condition (except the greens which are probably 5/10) so you should only play here as an absolute last resort.
This could possibly be the worst maintained golf course in Australia. Charging 100 bucks and not telling people before hitting off that they will lose their golf balls in the middle of the fairway should be illegal. Do not play at a Palmer course, ever. You have been warned.
It has been a while since I played and baulked at the $99 fee but was keen to go and have another look. It was a disgrace. For the price I was very disappointed. Half the bikers were gur and had no sand in them. I won’t be back at that price.
